28.04.2022 | Platone was one of the initiating projects of the FlexCommunity. Now the first meeting of the FlexCommunity working groups - the FlexGroups - took place.
After the kickoff event in February, now the first FlexGroups meeting took place.
The purpose of the meeting was twofold: it should serve to sound out and define the position of the FlexCommunity as a whole in relation to other organisations & initiatives. It should also serve to specify the topics the different FlexGroups want to work on.
To define the position of the FlexCommunity in relation to others, Selene Liverani from E.DSO, Elena Boskov Kovacs from European Technology and Innovation Platform Smart Networks for Energy Transition (ETIP SNET) and Alberto Dognini from OPENDEI.eu were invited. In ten minutes each, they pitched their organisation's view on the topic of flexibilities and inspired the discussion in the following FlexGroups breakout sessions.
Guided the FlexGroup moderators Gianluca Lipari, Christopher Schneider, Isidoros Kokos, Mats Tiborn, Janina Katona, Christoph Gieseke, Anna Lene Maaß, the members of each FlexGroup debated what we want to achieve with the FlexCommunity, how we want to position ourselves & how we want to cooperate with other initiatives. Based on the outcomes, a memorandum of understanding will be drafted. All FlexGroups also collected the most relevant topics for their group, paving the way for their future work.
