Red „Start" button of demonstration phase pressed! Avacon, leader of the German Demo has celebrated the official start of the demonstration phase.
Together with the member of the board of Avacon, Dr. Stephan Tenge, and representatives of the local municipality and politics of the field test region Abbenhausen (Twistringen) the red start button in front of a large battery storage has been pushed.
With the official start an important milestone has been reached in the research of smart grid technologies that enable customer interaction with future markets, DSO’s and TSO’s, promotes the integration for RES into existing electricity networks and encourage energy transition.In the core of the German demonstrator Avacon will found an energy community, investigate ist generation and consumption behaviour and apply innovative grid operation strategies that enable to increase the reliability of energy supply and incease hosting capacity of existing networks.
